§ Mr. R. A. ButlerSecure prisons for men are under construction or are planned for erection on the following sites:

In addition the Styal Cottage Homes, near Manchester, are to be adapted as a semi-secure prison for 200 women. The work is expected to be completed by the end of 1961.
