asked the Minister of Education if he has yet received the Report of the Anderson Committee; and if he will make a statement.

My right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Scotland and I have received copies of this Report, and we are arranging for its publication about the end of this month.

We are indebted to Sir Colin Anderson and his colleagues for the care they have given to its preparation.

The Government's views will be made known when the recommendations in the Report have been fully considered.

asked the Minister of Education if he is yet in a position to state when he expects to publish the Report of the Anderson Committee on Student Grants.
