§ Mr. John HareI am glad to say that both producers' and curers' organisations have followed up energetically the encouragement given by the Government at the last Annual Review. Long-term contracts for bacon pigs have been offered by the Fatstock Marketing Corporation and by about 15 individual curers. I understand that the initial 89W response from producers has been satisfactory, though it is too soon to give reliable figures.
