§ Mr. HayThe gaps in the central reservation on Eastern Avenue between Gants Hill and Ley Street have been closed as an experiment to prevent right-hand turns into and out of the trunk road. We regard this as an important safety measure and hope that local residents will accept any slight inconvenience this may cause them. The position is being kept under review to see whether any changes are necessary.
