Thomasasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government and Minister for Welsh Affairs whether he is aware of the public resentment in Fairwater, Cardiff, at the proposal to grant industrial development permission for the plot of land between Fairwater Avenue and St. Fagan's Close; and whether, in view of the hardship that would be caused to those living in the area, he will refuse to sanction such development.

I have myself received no representations, but I am now in touch with the council about this matter. I will write to the hon. Member.
