§ 64. Mr. Wingfield Digbyasked the Secretary of State for War what are his plans for the future of Dorchester Barracks, in view of the amalgamation of the Devon-Dorset Regiment; and whether he will give an assurance that the barracks will be fully occupied, in view of the fact that in the meantime the Borough of Dorchester is losing approximately £4,500 in rates, which is a serious loss for a comparatively small borough.
