Mooreasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs if he will consider instructing Her Majesty's Government's representatives at the United Nations to raise the question of the transport of animals by road, rail, sea. and air, with a view to establishing a universal standard of humane conditions.
§ Mr. R. AllanHer Majesty's Government are watching developments in this matter with sympathy, but do not consider that it is at present feasible to formulate and enforce a universal standard for this purpose.
