Mr. de Freitasasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government and Minister for Welsh Affairs whether he will withhold planning permission for building on the 15-acre field shown as 531 at Manor Farm, Hykeham Road, Lincoln, until he has considered the urgent need in the neighbourhood for a public park and recreation ground.
§ Sir K. JosephA public local inquiry into this matter was held last week. The need for open space is one of the factors which my right hon. Friend will consider when he has his Inspector's report of the inquiry.
