§ Mr. Walker-SmithThe Government welcome this imaginative concept, as indeed they welcome any responsible and informed project designed to stimulate interest in mental health, whether in this country or internationally. I am in touch both with the World Federation for Mental Health, which initiated the idea of a World Mental Health Year, and with the National Association for Mental Health, which is responsible for arrangements for observing the Year in this country; and I shall be writing to hospital and local health authorities about the latter.
