§ Sir J. Smythasked the Minister of Pensions and National Insurance whether he will make a statement as regards the maximum limit on earnings for the purpose of eligibility for war pensions unemployability supplement.
§ Mr. Boyd-CarpenterYes. After reviewing the matter in the light of present conditions, Her Majesty's Government propose to increase this limit from £52 a year to £104. The change will become effective in two or three months' time, when the necessary amendments have been made to the War Pensions Instruments.
