§ 63. Mr. Deedesasked the Secretary to the Treasury why the Board of Inland Revenue has decided to transfer the Rating Valuation Office for the south eastern region from Ashford to Dover.
§ Sir E. BoyleThe Rating Valuation Office at Ashford was merged with the Dover Office on 26th February, in the interests of economy and efficiency. Members of the public will not be inconvenienced, since the work is largely carried on by correspondence and, where necessary, the valuers concerned will arrange to meet them in their own locality.
