§ Mr. MaudlingThe estimate of 300 or 400 jobs for the Accrington area is based on confidential information provided by the firms concerned. Two of these (one of them from outside the area) have taken over vacant textile mills. Another is proposing to extend existing premises and others have been granted D.A.T.A.C. assistance. New factory building is involved in two cases.
