§ Mr. MaudlingThere are several hundred new jobs in prospect in the Furness district, and my right hon. Friend the Minister of Labour does not expect any great difficulty in placing workers who become redundant at the Barrow Steel Works in new employment. My Department will continue to encourage firms to set up in the district.
