asked the Minister of Health whether he is aware of the formation of the Committee for Research on Apparatus for the Disabled; and what assistance this committee receives from public funds, or in other forms from his department.

Yes. The Committee, which was set up by the National Fund for Re search into Poliomyelitis and other Crippling Diseases, receives no grants from public funds, but I understand that the services of certain research workers whose salaries are paid from public funds are available to it. Officers of the Ministry serve on the Committee as observers.
