§ Mr. G. M. Thomsonasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies what information he has about the importation into Hong Kong from Taiwan of pirated British books as unmanifested cargo carried in by ships' crews; and what action is proposed to stop this.
§ Mr. Iain MacleodThe Governor of Hong Kong has given instructions to search parties to look out for pirated books imported in this way. If any are discovered, it will be open to interested parties to take such action as they see fit.
