§ Mr. Jannerasked the Minister of Transport whether he will make a statement on the results of his request to the Omnibus Stopping Places Advisory Committee to consider the provision of an omnibus stop near St. Stephen's Hall entrance to the Houses of Parliament, in view of the continuing inconvenience to visitors to Parliament and Members of Parliament from the lack of such an omnibus stop.
§ Mr. MarplesI am informed that, after studying the question, the Stopping Places Advisory Committee are agreed that it would not be practicable to site a bus stop near the St. Stephen's Entrance because of the interference with traffic movement which would result. I have written to the hon. Member in rather more detail about this.
