Stewartasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government and Minister for Welsh Affairs whether he is aware of the concern felt by the staffs of new town development corporations, especially at Hemel Hempstead, about the effect on their future employment of 119W the operation of the New Towns Act, 1959; and what action he proposes to take in this matter.
§ Mr. H. BrookeDiscussions are at present taking place between the two sides of the New Towns Whitley Council about redundancy; and I think it best to see what comes out of those discussions before reaching any conclusion.
