Mr. Pavittasked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will state the number of general practice vacancies in 101W the area of the Glasgow Executive Council in the last two years; how many were advertised; how many of those advertised contained the information that the practice may be divided between two or more suitable practitioners; and how many were split up and given to practitioners already on the executive council's list.
§ Mr. MaclayForty-six vacancies occurred in the two years ending 31st March, 1960. Ten were advertised, five of these on the basis that the practice might be divided between two or more suitable practitioners. In the event these five practices were split up and given to practitioners already on the Glasgow list.
