§ Mr. MaudlingThe hon. and learned Member doubtless refers to a party of United Arab Republic businessmen who visited this country recently at the invitation of the Board of Trade. The main purpose of the visit was to renew contacts with our businessmen and to explore with them ways of increasing trade between the two countries. I understand that there was general agreement that the foundations were laid for what we hope will be a substantial increase in trade.
