§ 62. Mr. J. P. W. Mallalieuasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether he is aware that goods made abroad under the auspices of the Lutheran World Service and imported into this country by the Famine Relief Committee are being subjected to Customs delays at the ports; and whether he will instruct Customs officials to clear these goods with the maximum of dispatch.
Mr. AmoryI have no reason to think that these importations are being delayed by the Customs, but if the hon. Member will let me have full particulars of any specific instances of delay I will gladly look into them.
