Mr. Thorntonasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies how frequently the Governor's Special Committee, to deal with bribery and corruption in Hong Kong, has met since its appointment in March last; whether it has received applications for permission to submit oral evidence; and whether these applications have been granted.
