I understand that the Press has conveyed a warning issued by the Institution of Electrical Engineers, and that where it is possible to identify the importers of articles whose wiring does not comply with the British Standard, the Electrical Adviser to the Home Office is generally able to persuade them to make the appropriate alterations.
