Silvermanasked the Prime Minister if he will instruct the Secretary of State for the Home Department to consult with the Minister of Defence in order to make available to the general public the details of the early missile warning system, stating what form of warning will be given to the public and what action they will be advised to take on receiving such warning.
§ The Prime MinisterNo. I am satisfied that there is adequate consultation between my right hon. Friends the Home Secretary and the Minister of Defence. I have no doubt that they will take note of the hon. Member's suggestions without my issuing instruction is to them.
