§ 49. Mr. Elwyn Jonesasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs what official reply Her Majesty's Government have made to the memorandum of the International Committee of the Red Cross, Geneva, received on 12th May, 1958, asking the Government for their views on the Draft Rules for the Limitation of the dangers incurred by the Civilian Population in Times of War, designed to restrict the use of nuclear 5W weapons, the preparation and furtherance of which received the approval of Her Majesty's Government during the 19th International Red Cross Conference held at New Delhi in October, 1957.
