Mrs. Butlerasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food if he is aware of the concern arising from the delay in issuing regulations designed to protect the public in respect of the disposal of meat condemned at slaughterhouses; and what progress has been made in the examination of representations on the problem.
§ 28. Mr. Darlingasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food whether he has now fully considered the views of all the appropriate interests involved in the sale or disposal of meat unfit for human consumption; what conclusions he has reached; and what action he proposes to take to ensure that no unfit meat finds its ways into cafes, hotels, butchers' shops and other normal channels of trade.
