§ Mr. GodberIf the hon. Gentleman is referring to application for material assistance during recent floods, no representations have been made by river boards to my right hon. Friend apart from requests for the loan of pumping equipment, which have been promptly met. The Ministry's drainage engineers are, of course, always ready to give advice when asked. Substantial assistance is given to all approved capital projects undertaken by river boards.
