§ Mr. MarplesSix million copies of the new Highway Code have been printed. Direct sales to the public by Her Majesty's Stationery Office together with issues through normal trade channels so far total 1,825,000 copies.
In addition nearly 2¼ million copies have been allocated to learner-drivers, drivers in Government service, the police and the courts.
