§ 74. Mr. H. Clarkasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether he will consider making provision for British shareholders in Egyptian companies, and in British companies operating in Egypt, who are now beginning to receive their dividends for the last four years in lump sums, in order to relieve them to some extent of the Income Tax deductions for which they are liable, and which are likely to be very much heavier than they would have been in normal conditions.
