asked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food the support price for ware potatoes of the 1959 crop, and the average price realised in England and Wales since 1st October, 1959.

The guaranteed price for eligible potatoes of the 1959 crop in the United Kingdom is £12 14s. 0d. per ton. The average price realised by growers in England and Wales for the period 27th September, 1959, to 30th January, 1960, is provisionally estimated at about £13 12s. 0d. per ton.
