HC Deb 15 February 1960 vol 617 c76W
34. Mr. H. Wilson

asked the Minister of Health if he is aware than the township of Huyton-with-Roby, with a population considerably in excess of 60,000, has no hospital; and what steps he proposes to take to ensure that an adequate hospital is built.

Mr. Walker-Smith

I am aware of the position; but, having regard to the facilities available at hospitals in adjacent areas, I share the view of the regional board that the need is more urgent in other districts.
