§ Mr. Jenningsasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government and Minister for Welsh Affairs what improvement there has been in the state of pollution of the River Trent at Burton-on-Trent, as compared with the amount of pollution in 1955.
§ Sir K. JosephThere has been a slight but noticeable improvement. Further and larger schemes are now in hand for extending and improving sewerage and sewage disposal works which when completed will substantially reduce pollution.
