69. Mr. Lipton

asked the Minister of Health if he will appoint a committee to investigate and report on the work of the Putney migraine clinic.

Mr. Walker-Smith

The methods used at this clinic have been published and it is open to any doctor to adopt them if 1- e wishes. It is not my function to assess the merits of a particular method of treatment, and I do not therefore see what useful purpose the appointment of such a committee could serve.

64. Mr. Mason

asked the Minister of Health if he will state the figures separately of people awaiting operations at St. Helen's and Beckett Hospitals, Barnsley, and, particularly, the numbers waiting for each type of operation and the estimated waiting time.
