asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether he has now received the Report of the Poisons Board on preludin; and whether he will now ban the sale of this drug without medical prescription

I have now received from the Poisons Board a report containing a recommendation that a number of substances including preludin should be supplied only on prescription. Subject to the consideration of any representations by those concerned, I propose to accept this recommendation and to give it effect as soon as practicable
