asked the Secretary of State for the Colonies if he will cause an inquiry to be made into the circumstances in which Mr. Joseph Tekam, Mr. Daniel Nouwou and Mr. Aloysius Nkamdun were deported to Kamarun in November and December, 1959, from the British Cameroons.

Joseph Tekam was declared a prohibited immigrant in November and repatriated. Daniel Nouwou was charged with assaulting the police but he broke his bail and a warrant for his arrest has been issued. Application has been made to have him declared a prohibited immigrant. Aloysius Nkamdun was detained but he has been released and not deported
