§ Mr. R. AllanWe have claimed compensation from the Ethiopian Government and reserved our rights in respect of the incidents at Haabo Humeyd and Lanquairta. No reply has yet been received. We are not claiming compensa-88W tion over the incidents near Awareh since here the Protectorate Somalis were resisting the Ethiopian security forces in the exercise of their general responsibility for the maintenance of public order. We have proposed a joint AngloEthiopian inquiry into all these incidents.
