HC Deb 21 December 1960 vol 632 c159W
Mr. Russell

asked the Minister of Transport whether he can yet make a further statement about the proposed major survey of London traffic.

Mr. Marples

I shall endorse the decision the London County Council took yesterday to appoint Messrs. Freeman, Fox and Partners to advise on the form and organisation of this major traffic survey. This firm which is in association with Engineering Services Corporation, an American firm with its British office at Basildon, will later be appointed to undertake the survey itself provided that a mutually acceptable basis of remuneration can be agreed when the precise scope of the survey has been ascertained.
