§ Miss Hornsby-SmithThe annual costs, in salaries and wages, of staffing the local offices at Leigh, Atherton and Tyldesley are £40,300, £13,900 and £12,800 respectively. It is contrary to practice to give details of rents paid or asked for Government offices. To do so, would, for obvious reasons, not be in the public interest.
