HC Deb 14 December 1960 vol 632 c46W
66. Sir W. Wakefield

asked the Minister of Transport what immediate action he is proposing to take to alleviate the traffic congestion caused at Redbridge, Swanley, Kings Lynn and elsewhere, details of which are given in a pamphlet produced by the British Road Federation, a copy of which has been sent to him; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. Marples

I have read with interest the pamphlet referred to. Action will be taken to improve the roads at these places, and at many others, as funds become available, but in determining priorities I must have regard to equally important needs elsewhere.
