Mr. Swinglerasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies, in view of the plans announced by Rhodesia Railways and the copper mining companies for the advancement of Africans, whether he is satisfied that the facilities in Northern Rhodesia to enable Africans to train themselves in science and technology at secondary schools are adequate.
§ Mr. Iain MacleodThere is always room for improvement and the Northern Rhodesia Government are fully alive to the needs of the territory. The whole problem is under examination.
