§ Sir D. EcclesImprovements in the teaching of science and mathematics in the schools are being studied by teachers' organisations, by examining bodies on which school and university teachers are represented, and by Her Majesty's Inspectors. I do not control syllabuses or teaching methods, but I shall continue to encourage all those concerned to improve them.
