§ 61. Mr. Haymanasked the Minister of Health, as representing the Minister for Science, what were the percentages of Strontium 90 in milk in Cornwall during the second half of 1958, and the first and second halves of 1959.
§ Mr. Walker-SmithSeparate figures for Cornwall are not available. This is because samples representative of the total production in the Far-West Region, that is, Devon and Cornwall together, are bulked before analysis. The results of these analyses for 1958 and the first half of 1959 are published, for selected periods, in the first and second reports of the Agricultural Research Council Radiobiological Laboratory—Appendix 3C and Appendix 1 respectively.
It is expected that the results of analyses for the second half of 1959 will be published in some months' time.
