§ Mr. Iain MacleodThe rate of pension payable to teachers in the Seychelles is one seven-hundred and twentieth of pensionable emoluments for each complete month of pensionable service, compared with the rate of one six-hundredth of pensionable emoluments for each complete month of pensionable service payable to other public servants. Following the recent salaries revision, consideration is being given to the proposal to grant parity in pensions between teachers and other public servants.
