§ 71. Mr. R. Edwardsasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies what was the reason for the arrest of the secretary of the One Kamerun Party in Tiko and the confiscation of documents from the headquarters of this party in the Southern Cameroons.
§ Mr. AlportUnder the provisions of the Nigerian Criminal Code, the Nigeria Police on 30th March entered premises where a meeting of an unlawful society was being held, and took possession of certain documents. A Mr. Epeye, who admitted owning the documents, was arrested and has been remanded in custody.
