§ 72. Mr. Biggs-Davisonasked the Minister of Health whether he will make a statement about his meeting with a deputation from the British Limbless Ex-Service Men's Association, the British Legion and the Royal Air Force Association.
§ Mr. Walker-SmithI was very glad to meet this deputation which represented 44 Service and Ex-Service organisations and was led by the National Chairman of the British Legion. I discussed with the deputation points arising from my statement on 4th April about the provision of small cars for war pensioners, and we also discussed the scale of petrol duty allowances paid to the users of Ministry vehicles, and the development of the artificial limb service.
