§ 58. Mr. H. Hyndasked the Minister of Transport if he will now announce his plans for the use of Kingsway Tunnel.
§ Mr. MarplesThe London County Council proposes to adapt the southern part of the tunnel as an underpass for light traffic between Waterloo Bridge and Kingsway. It is expected that the greatest advantage will be obtained by making the underpass one-way from south to north. I hope to include the scheme in the road programme at an early date.
