§ 56. Mr. Dribergasked the Secretary of State for Air what arrangements are being made for a public inquiry at which objectors to the Fylingdales project can be heard.
Mr. WardNone. Such an inquiry would mean disclosing the detailed 53W criteria which determined the siting, and this would not be in the national interest. The layout and appearance of the station have, however, been fully discussed with the planning and amenity bodies concerned, and agreement has been reached with the local planning authority on all major points.
