§ Mr. R. AllanThe numbers are not known with absolute certainty, but we know that one Scotsman and one Scotswoman, Commander and Mrs. J. A. Paul, were killed. One Scotswoman, Mrs. H. J. Dunsmuir, who has been missing since the earthquake, is feared to have perished.
One Scotsman, Mr. Dunsmuir, escaped with minor injuries.
