Final reports show, for the hospital service in Scotland, a total of 18 in- 26W patient admissions and 157 out-patient attendances. General practitioners are known to have given treatment on 92 occasions. On the basis of the ordinary unit costs for these services, which take account of overhead expenditure, the total cost might be put at £300.
