§ 104. Mr. Doddsasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government and Minister for Welsh Affairs what action he proposes to take to deal with a situation that is causing widespread concern, namely, the decision to impose higher rates on orphanages and children's homes run by charitable contributions by classifying them for rateable purposes with boarding houses; and, in view of the need to give every possible help to those who do so much for these children and thereby reduce the number dependent upon public authorities, if he will treat this matter as urgent.
