asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether, in his consideration of suggestions for the further payment of post-war credits, he will give particular attention to the case of the postman, aged 62 years, and in financial difficulties owing to a move enforced by the ill-health of his wife, details of which were sent to him on 2nd November by the hon. Member for Wallsend.

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether he will consider giving himself powers of discretion in special cases where applicants for the release of post-war credits are within two years of the standard ages at any given date.
